Dunking for Jesus

What an exciting way to end our first round of serving in Berlin. On Sunday, June 29th - the day before I returned to the States - we were able to witness 11 people from our church be baptized. One young man named Mike, just came to Jesus in the past few months. He had been growing but also struggling as a new believer and recently doubted God's existence. During a recent worship service the Holy Spirit led me to go and pray for him. Unbeknownst to me he had just prayed a silent prayer - "God if you are really real, give me a sign and send Kirk to pray for me." I walked up just a few minutes later. He told me that at that moment he decided to go ahead and be baptized a believer - a believer in a God who not only died for us - but still speaks and is real in our lives today.
